What We Do

Structured programming includes literacy training; alternative educational opportunities; mental health & substance abuse counseling; physical health and fitness activities; and other avenues for developing positive decision-making skills and connections to the community.

Our services are designed to offer at-risk youth the resources and skills they need to reach their full potential and contribute their best to their surrounding communities.

PYO is led by members that represent public education; human services and community health; court services and law enforcement; parks and recreation; private industry; athletics; youth and family advocacy, and local media.

Executive Board

 

Herman White

Herman White is the Owner/Executive Director of Paramount Youth   Services, LLC, (PYS). Herman White established PYS in December 2006 to provide community and detention-based services for high-risk youth and families who have become involved in the juvenile justice system. PYS provides professional services to the Division of Youth Corrections, Denver Juvenile Court, Denver County Court, Denver Juvenile Probation, Denver Department of Human Services, District Attorney’s Office, and Public Defender’s Office.

Herman has a passion for working with youth at risk, whether it is in life or in athletics. Over the years, Herman has received recognition for his aptitude in coaching, spotting talent, coordinating and facilitating camps and clinics as well as mentoring. He has played key roles in several camps around the Denver Metro area. Herman was also recognized for his community involvement as recipient of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Citizen of The Year Award and the Joint Effort Community Service Award.

Sean White

Sean White is a former student-athlete on the football team at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UT), majoring in Finance, Exercise Science, Sports Management and Economics. He is the founder of Paramount Sports where he trains and mentors young athletes all over the country offering the essentials needed to become productive citizens, students, and athletes; instilling a sense of self confidence, helping them achieve success in every facet of their lives.

Sean is a member of the Black Student Alliance (BSA), contributes in Athletes in Action (AIA) and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) initiatives, and focuses on the key management and marketing aspects of less profiled student athletes.

He served as the Coordinator for Speed and Agility for the Chauncey Billups Basketball Clinic. He also is a member of the Board of Directors for: LenDale White Paramount Youth Football Clinic, W2W Darcey Levy Football Camp, youth counselor for the Kenoy Kennedy Football Camp and Athletes and Beyond Football Camps I and II.

Kimora White

Kimora (Kim) White is the Administrative Coordinator for Paramount Youth Services, LLC (PYS).  Kim’s passions lay in the world of the Arts.  She studied and performed with the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company as a teen, receiving a scholarship to CALARTS.  While Kim attended California Institute of the Arts (CALARTS), she majored in dance with a minor in stage production.

Over the years, Kim’s community involvement in the Denver Metro area  include: Co- founder of the SK System Dance Troupe; event planning under GRoses Events and Weddings; assists in the administration of the Chauncey Billups Basketball Shooting Clinics; Administration for the W2W Sports Camp; and the Darcey Levy Youth Football Camp; Head Administrator  of the LenDale White Paramount Youth Football Clinic Founder of the Lady Survivors Basketball Team; and currently serves as a Board member of the Spread Her Wings Foundation.

Nyasha Levy

Nyasha Levy currently holds a B.A. in Technical Communications and A.A. in Theater. She has been employed for eleven years with the State of Colorado Office of Information Technology.  Prior to this, she was employed with M.D.C. Holdings – Richmond American Homes/Home American Mortgage as a Helpdesk Engineer and Trainer.

Nyasha has over 15 years of experience working with and advocating for youth in the community with a specific focus on education and athletics.  She has managed to find additional quality time to impact the lives of others even with the demands of being single parent of two student athletes.

Nyasha has served as liaison and mentor to several teen parents.  She currently serves on the executive board of the Pirates Youth Football Organization. Most recently she started an event planning business that has secured various projects with an average of 300+ attendees/guests.
